Nic Conland

Nic lives in the Waikato - and he has five children and two grandchildren living across New Zealand.

Nic is a director and co-founder of Verdi, as well as an independent director of The Stream + owner/ director of Taiao Natural Resource Management Ltd.

All of which are focused on enabling food producers to make the changes they need to meet the market demands for environmental excellence, climate resilience and communicate the role of agriculture as part of the environment and community.

With Verdi New Zealand, he is undertaking a nationwide effort to support farmers understand the importance and opportunities for soil carbon in their soils - to enhance the resilience and health of soils while providing an alternative tool to improve on farm incomes.
