As an Eco nutritionist I look for the patterns that link soil health, food nutrient density and human well-being. I specialise in coaching farmers and gardeners to grow foods that heal both people and the planet. My training is in soil science, ecology and bucking the mainstream narrative. I have consulted in biological, regenerative, and organic agriculture in all agricultural sectors over the last 17 years.

I’m a Californian from a farming background who married a Kiwi from Porangahau, who lectured in pesticide policy at Lincoln. I understand the damage that chemicals do to the soil and human microbiomes. I help people learn how to detoxify their soils so that our food, water, and air can regain diversity, integrity, and health.

I teach how to put the microbial bedsprings back into soil by raising nutrient dense plants and roots that grow soil carbon levels.

I believe we’d all be better off if we applied ecological principles to farming and viewed the economy as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Environment.
