Mike taitoko
Mike is a co-founder of Toha and Calm the Farm. He has spent the last five years running pilot projects with farmers and supply chains to test ways to unlock new value for farmers and stewards of the land, especially where regenerative practices are leading to improved biodiversity and environmental outcomes.
Mike's passion is to find ways to build more localised regenerative food systems with shorter supply chains that benefit farmers and their consumers above all else.
Mike is an Edmund Hillary Fellow, he lives in Kāpiti with his wife Helen and they have four kids and nine healthy grandchildren who are all consumers of organic and fermented kai.
